My life, like all of our lives has been and still remains a quest. I sought answers to the world’s difficulties, wanting to help alleviate suffering, seeking a spiritual connection and a way to stabilize myself emotionally to find inner peace. Like most others, I’ve had my failures and successes; experience good days and those fraught with struggles.
Also like most of us, I am a work in progress, the sum of my experiences and the choices I have made about them and the behaviors they have generated within me.
As I write these blogs—just as when I wrote my book—I reference my family, friends, and all of the people and experiences that have brought me to this moment, facing my next growth edge.
Adult life becomes an outcome of the decisions we make about the events we have experienced. Sometimes things are so traumatic, it’s difficult to find our ground and a sense of self beyond them. That is when we benefit the most from the support of one another or others.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, trained in various mind/body/spirit modalities but most importantly, I am a human being on the same path as you, seeking to live a self-constructive and fulfilling life.
We might share laughter or tears together but if my experiences speak to you, if my thoughts inspire you or my entries reassure or empower you, we will have touched the very essence of our being, that we are all connected and need the love and support of one another.
